3 Steps to Begin Making Money on eBay?Fast - When You Don't Know Where to Start

Do not sit in front of your computer any more, wasting time and daydreaming. Begin today to take the necessary steps needed to make money on eBay?

I have discovered how awesome eBay?really is!

It was not too long ago that I had no clue what eBay?was about, and now look at me, an eBay?enlightened Mom!

Would you like to get there too? It is not difficult and it is really a lot of fun.

eBay?is the latest, and greatest money-making endeavor I have found. And believe me, I have searched high and low in all kinds of markets and businesses to find something that could work for me.

Nothing I found seemed to tickle my fancy until eBay? There were always too many loopholes to stop me from pursuing any of the ideas I came across. Such problems I found were, for example: the costs which seemed to escalate, the amount of time that was required was more than I could give, the steps were way too complicated and the end result always seemed way too small.

No, not me boy, I wanted to invest only a small amount of money, I wanted to spend about 15 hours on this per week, and I needed it to be pretty simple, something that if I stopped at any moment, (you know the kids always distract me at the wrong times) I needed to be able to pick up where I left off and not end up completely confused. Does this sound like the same issues you have had?

Let eBay?be your solution to the fastest and most simple way of making money! Let me share the ropes with you so you can begin right away.

Step 1 - Log on to eBay?and start exploring!

Sounds too easy right? Well it is, as I promised. Just look up searches for things you are interested in and see for yourself how items are listed.

Make note as to how some auctions draw your eye to them, and others don't. Look at the titles of the items, which ones would you be more drawn to and why. Under the "search" box, use different words to describe what it is you want to find and see what comes up.

Notice how many different categories there are and observe the specialty sites. Interesting now isn't it!

If you are feeling a bit more comfortable the next thing you should do is buy something from eBay?

Step 2 - Buy something from eBay?

The reason you need to buy something is because to be a good seller you must understand what it is like to be a buyer. You do not have to spend a lot of money here, in fact you should not spend a lot, just get your feet a bit wet and try it out.

To find out the steps in buying from eBay?check out my other articles. You will see that it is not difficult to set up a buyer's account on eBay? AND you get to choose an eBay?user ID, a code word if you like that eBay?users will know you by. Sounds exciting now doesn't it! Who knew that part of the process to making money on eBay?was shopping! Well I would say that is just too much fun.

Okay, now you have browsed around eBay? you have familiarized yourself with auctions, and you have purchased something! That is great and you are now ready to make some money.

Step 3 - Sell something from your attic.

Don't panic if you do not have an attic. Do you have a cupboard, a closet, a drawer, a child! No, just kidding, there is no need to sell your firstborn, at least not yet! But you do need to find something to sell, and it would be best if it was not your mother's $5,000.00 wedding ring please!

You do not want to start with an expensive item, remember this is a first sale for you so make it easy for yourself. Also, keep in mind shipping costs and packaging needs, so size and weight is a factor here.

Once you have found your first item, or items, take some really good pictures of them and upload the photos on your computer. You are now ready to set up a seller's account on eBay? My other articles can guide you through this process.

If you have followed these steps, you can sit back now and watch the price of your item go up and up, until at last someone buys it!

You have taken the plunge. In essence you have begun your exciting career on eBay? May this be the beginning of a very profitable journey for you.

How to Make Money From Blogging

Blogs are a great way to share facts, ideas and opinions directly between people, but also, they are a viable way to earn money. In fact, earning money with blogs is something just about anyone can do. Making money with blogs is completely dependent on your audience and youre ability to attract people to click on the advertisements. Blogs are simple to set up, and relatively easy to update. As many as 75,000 blogs are created every dayalmost one per second!

If you are looking to start making money on the internet and you have a budget that is very small or zero, blogging is a great way to get started. You can set-up a free blog and join advertisement programs for free. The only cost involved in setting up a blog is your time.

Although there are many factors involved in making money with your blog, there are a few vital keys to remember when setting up, maintaining and promoting your blog in order to achieve success.

1. Your blog needs to have the right layout in order for your adsense ads to be clickable?by visitors. Choosing an advertisements location, size and color is very important and is something you will need to constantly test and tweak to determine which formats produce the most clicks. Its amazing how one small change can produce monumental results. There are also many other ways to make money with your blog than with adsense alone. You could promote affiliate products and implement contextual advertising such as Kontera.

2. Your blog will need lots and lots of traffic. This is really a no-brainer, yet its the greatest challenge of any website owner. The encouraging reality is that there are more ways to generate traffic for your blog than ever before. This is due to the emergence of Web 2.0 sites like YouTube and social bookmarking sites. Many of these sites provide great sources for one-way links to your blog. Getting hundreds, even thousands of quality links is a must if you expect significant traffic to your blog. There are also many SEO tools on the market now such as directory and article submitters that will help you get thousands of backlinks to your blog quickly and save lots of valuable time.

3. Your blog will need to be updated frequently. You cannot expect return visitors if your blog is not a source of fresh information. You can use RSS feeds to provide your blog with relative information, however you will need to add personal posts as well at least once or twice per week. This will increase your blogs search engine rankings and also help brand you as an expert in your niche.

Blogging is a great way to share your thoughts and ideas online, but its also a powerful money-making tool. Making money with blogs is fairly simple if you know what to do and if youre willing to invest the time and effort necessary to make it profitable.

Getting to Know your Basenji

Getting to know your dog starts by getting to know its breed. At Kingdom of Pets, we keep a large database of detailed information on the appearance, personality, and health requirements of individual dog breeds. Here's what you need to know about the Basenji:

The Basenji is classified as a member of the sight hound?family, otherwise known as a hound.?However, this breed is also referred to as a Congo Dog?because it is one of the oldest breed dogs, coming out of the continent of Africa. In fact, if you were to visit Africa, going to some of the Egyptian Pharaohs tombs, you would see carvings or other depictions of the Basenji on the Steles. Just as they did thousands of years ago, the Basenji is a regal breed with a proud stance, erect ears, and a curled tail.

For many years, this breed almost completely disappeared but then in 1895 when the Europeans crossed over into the Congo, it was again discovered, becoming a favorite pet due to its high level of intelligence, speed, silence, and even courage. All of these special qualities made the Basenji a great help during wild game hunts. After being imported to the United States sometime in the 1930s, the Basenji became popular, which lead to the breed becoming a member of the American Kennel Club in 1943.

Physical Appearance

As mentioned, the Basenji has a strong, proud look that is hard to miss. This breed is small, typically between 20 to 24 pounds and about 17 inches tall. The hair is short, the eyes almond shaped, and especially when puppies the forehead is wrinkled. Watching a Basenji move is fascinating in that the breed trots similar to a horse with a double-suspension gallop at full speed running.

While you will see a number of hair colors, only some are recognized by the American Kennel Club. These colors include:

* Brindle White (black stripes on a red background)
* Red and White
* Black and White
* Tricolor (red, black, and white)
* Trindle (tricolor and brindle combination)

Temperament and Personality

The most fascinating aspect of the Basenji is that this breed does not bark although a simple woof sound is possible. Other sounds made by the Basenji include a squeal, chortle, white, or yodel. Basenjis are also insistent on being clean, often wiping the face just like that of a cat. While this breed loves to hunt and explore, it does not favor water.

Being an extremely smart dog, the Basenji is easy to train, learning commands quickly. Other temperaments include being independent, funny, aloof to strangers, devoted to the master, and even mischievous. Keep in mind if you buy a Basenji that they love to run and they are exceptional climbers. Therefore, a chain link fence is not necessarily a good barrier.

Most Basenjis are high energy and independent. While they get along well with children and other pets, it is usually recommended they be heavily socialized and supervised. In most cases, if this breed is raised around other animals, walked in the park, and exposed to a number of environments, it will do well. However, the Basenji is a breed of its own, sometimes being unpredictable and a little standoffish.

Health

Typically, the Basenji is a healthy breed although some might develop Fanconi Syndrome, which is an inheritable kidney disorder. When a Basenji develops this problem, he or she would likely not have any symptoms until around four. In addition, this breed can be a carrier of a recessive gene known as the Hemolytic Anemia, which can be tested for with a non-invasive procedure.

Other possible health risks include Progressive Retinal Atrophy, which is a form of degeneration in the retina, causing blindness, Coloboma, a hole in the eyes structure, Persistent Pupillary Membrane, which are small threads going across the dogs pupil, Malabsorption, an autoimmune intestinal disease, and Hip Dysplasia, which is a bone disease that causes symptoms similar to arthritis.

How The Average Person Can Make Money Online

The experience in situations of life and death very easily describe feelings you get when you dont know where your next meal ticket will come from! A guru in the internet marketing field sums it up in his own experience when he said, Ive seen war zones, but nothing prepared me for the utter panic I felt that day as the realization set in! The average persons guide to making money online draws on the very fundamental of internet marketing.

1. The Attitude

The average person is in danger of hearing words like this one at work unannounced, No More Company, No More Money, and So No More Pete? Does it sound familiar? In his great book (in my opinion), Who Moved My Cheese? Spencer Johnson admonishes everyone who cares to listen to constantly smell the cheese?to make sure its not stale so you are not caught unawares! The cheese here will especially mean, but is not restricted to, your JOB. The idea is that the pace of change out there is not easily discounted for and shouldnt we be on our toes?!

Many experiences show that the average person gets the best and quickest results when uncertainty is thrust on them. It creates urgency and a squeezing of the brains good juices when a job goes out through the window. It could also be a smouldering and passionate hatred for your ongoing, unsatisfying and unfulfilling job! Good news is that there are tools in internet marketing that will get you up and running and smiling in no time. Devastatingly simple processes! How does it sound when all you have to do is stand on the shoulder of an already successful internet marketer so you can avoid the pitfalls and booby traps early on in your internet marketing career?!

2. Get A Domain Name And Website.

One pitfall to avoid in getting started in internet marketing is the tendency to over complicate things. This probably stems from what we have been taught from childhood that hard work equates to financial reward and so things must look a bit complicated! How do I make money from a domain name and a website? Think about a SIMPLE one page website with one theme running all through the one page (no complications). Another heads up in internet marketing is, whatever you do to get started in internet marketing, remember to DO ONE THING AT A TIME! Its sounds simple enough but a great many of us just get about doing so many things at the same time. How come we dont remember that a jack of all trades is the master of none? I am excited by the deluge of helpful resources available on the internet to help achieve a purpose as simple as creating a one page website for example. You no longer have to be an expert to create a professionally looking website. Check out some helpful websites like; www.godaddy.com, www.yahoo.com and www.fasthosts.co.uk. You would want to avoid free websites if you are serious about making money online. Truth is, there isnt much that is actually gratis on the internet! With free websites you end up with whooping great advertisements on the bottom of your emails or horrible pop-ups on your website.

3. What Will You Be Selling?

I will tell you that a great many internet marketing books scream about how great it is to go with anyone of the selling models available on the internet. They do this without encouraging you to find out what will come natural with your own person! Its probably not there fault because the front page of e-books already warn that you are responsible for any personal liability, loss, or risk incurred, as a consequence of acting on the information sold to you! Also remember that it is your responsibility to critically assess my advice or any gurus advice and get on with, for example, the number of products you think suits you. What will I be selling?

1. Affiliate sales

2. E-books

3. Software

This isnt hard to do. The first time is the hardest but when you do it right first time you can repeat the process and join the gang?of those who earn a comfortable living through multiple income streams. Imagine having 25 websites selling with each website making over $1,000 every month? Our dreams are all weve got and we can make them happen! Its time to start working. See you at the top!

Keeping Dogs off Furniture: What are Your Doggy Rules?

In general, you need to decide what kind of house you want to live in and what doggy rules are the most important ones. For example, if your dog seems temperamental around young children, you will want to focus on this first before worrying about the furniture. Its often a good idea to have no go?zones for your dog too. This not only gives you a place where you can put your valuable or vulnerable stuff, but also reminds the dog that this is your territory, first and foremost.

You also have to realize that the second you walk out that door, they may go over to your leather couch, lie on it all day, and hop off just as you get home. Smart ones will even vacuum the dog hair off. Youll never know they were there. Unless these areas are restricted, your dog will naturally want to recline in luxury. You would too, which is why you bought the leather couch. If its not convenient to block access to an entire room, it might be possible to obstruct the item of furniture itself. You might put a few folding chairs on top of it when youre gone, anything that makes the item undesirable (tacks are not an option).

Of course, there are simple ways to train your dog to jump up on furniture, jump off of furniture, or avoid your furniture altogether. They will obviously want to hop up on the soft, warm spot, so if theyre allowed to, make them Wait, Sit, and then Up?while patting the cushion will do the trick of letting them know they need to wait for an invitation. Off?with a quick snap of the fingers or a clap will do the opposite, but you may need to physically encourage this response at first. If you do, taking them by the collar and pulling is the common way but its not the best, and they can easily resist.

Instead, try sliding your hand behind them, at their lower back or rear end, so in effect you create a wedge that lifts them slightly off their seat and gradually pushes them toward the floor. All the while, repeat the Off?or Down?command. This not only sends the message but makes their soft and comfortable seat uncomfortable, and theyll want to bail out.

The same will do the trick for a dog who is not allowed on furniture. Remember not to yell or severely push or pull your dog for sitting in a comfortable place. They will be much more willing to respect your wishes if you dont. As always, the key is in repetition. It wont take too long before they realize its not worth the effort.

Finally, make sure they have a decent option (which a hardwood floor in winter is not). No shame having a day bed for your dog out in the lounge. Even though they no longer have to sleep all day to save up enough energy for the big hunt, as their ancestors did, most are still quite happy to keep doing just that.
